X-Men Days of Future Past News
Finally the first X-Men Days of Future Past teaser trailer was released today, and it seems that Bryan Singer focused more on the melodramatic aspect in this X-Men Franchise in this installment. Initially you would think what’s up with that?Bishop in the X-Men Animated Series. (Photo credit: Wikipedia) |
Days of Future Past will explore a lot more the complicated dynamics between Xavier and Magneto in their past after the events of X-Men the First Class and in the near but in the same time distant future after what seems to be most of the X-Men are dead. Throw the Wolverine in there as a time traveler and one of the last living members of the X-Men.

We saw a lot of the original members of X-Men during the trailer like Kitty Pryde, Beast, Rogue, Storm, Iceman and Colossus but it’s hard to figure out what kind of an impact they will have on the main events of the film. It seems like most of them were pulled as memories from a recent past, either from Xavier or Logans memories as if they were flashbacks.
One of the new characters we got to see (briefly) in the trailer was Bishop. This is something very cool, not only because we didn’t see him in the earlier movies but because Bishop fits like a glove to the direction of the Days of Future Past time traveling paradox. Bishop appeared in the trailer for a brief second but I already run all kinds of potential scenarios and interactions between him and the Wolverine. This X-Men Days of Future Past film shapes to be so cool that it’s just so hard to wait so long for it.
I really, really like McAvoy so will be catching this the moment it's released.
ReplyDeleteOf course, I never miss Jackman in anything. I even watched his dreadful musical film, Australia.
McAvoy is OK, I like Fassbender a lot more. Jackman is great in any role but as Wolverine he is perfect.
