2014 Upcoming Movies
In 2014 we are all about to watch the sequels of some of the most iconic film series in the last few years, as well as some original and unique science fiction and family animation movies. And no matter that there are still some great movies expected in 2013, 2014 will probably be one of the greatest years for cinema industry in a very long time.
Here are some of the movies of 2014 that you should definitely not miss:
· RoboCop
· 300: Rise of An Empire
This is the sequel of the epic “300” from 2007. The action of the movie takes place mostly at sea and follows the story of Themistocles, who rises against the massive Persian invasion led by Xerxes and Artemisia.
· Noah
Here is a piece of one of the most epic Biblical stories, told by the director Darren Aronofsky. Russell Crowe will play the part of Noah, who will have to save his family from the apocalyptic flood. The cast also includes: Emma Watson, Logan Lerman and Jennifer Connelly.
· Captain America: The Winter Soldier

· Transcendence
The cinematographer Wally Pfister makes his debut as a director with this science fiction movie. We will see Johny Depp, who plays the part of a scientist, whose brain was transferred to a supercomputer. This makes both him and his wife targets of a terrorist organization.
· The Amazing Spider-Man 2
The new saga of Spider-Man continues. This time, Peter Parker will have to face two villains, represented by Electro, who is played by Jamie Foxx and the Rhinoceros, who is played by Paul Giamatti. Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone are also back, along with the director Marc Webb.
· Godzilla
The giant monster returns! Aaron Taylor-Johnson will partner will Bryan Cranston and Elizabeth Olsen in the movie that looks promising enough to become one of the greatest hits of 2014. In addition, get ready to see more than one monster in the movie.
· X-Men: Days of Future Past
The newest movie from the world of X-Men brings together some characters from the original trilogy with the ones we saw in “X-Men: First Class”. This is expected to be the biggest and most successful X-Men movie and the mutants will fight against some huge robots in the future, so you can also expect time travelling, too.
· Hercules: The Legend Begins
Kellan Lutz, who became popular as the vampire Emmett Cullen from the “Twilight” saga is now showing muscles in “Hercules: The Legend Begins”. He is playing the part of the son of Zeus and the mortal Alkmena, who was forced to abandon his beloved princess of Crete and go to exile in Egypt, fighting in the gladiatorial arena.
· I, Frankenstein
Remember, Victor Frankenstein is the doctor, and not the creature! “I, Frankenstein” puts Adam, the creature of Dr. Frankenstein in an anti-utopian society, where vigilant gargoyles and cruel demons, who are the personification of Good and Evil, are fighting for power and seek to discover the secret of his immortality. However, this time the battle is about the fate of all mankind, and the key to his death appears to be himself, whose part is played by Aaron Eckhart.
